The Step Gate® and the 2-Step Gate® series are easy to install on your pick-up tailgate – it only takes minutes. The all steel construction makes it durable. It stores out of the way when not in use and the quick release allows the step and the handle to be removed in seconds. With the handle and step attached, the tailgate is free to close. More than a truck mounted step, the Step Gate® and the 2-Step Gate® series are designed to help transport items safely and securely. The single Step Gate® can be mounted on either side of the tailgate, just by simply flipping the step bracket. The 2-Step Gate® mounts on the passenger side of the tailgate (Part # SG-2R). The 2-Step Gate® adds another 10-1/2 in. bracket, making it easier to enter taller trucks.
