Convert-A-Ball Facility at 955 Ball Street, Sidney, Nebraska

Welcome to Convert-A-Ball Distributing.

Robert VanVleet and his family moved to Sidney, Nebraska in 1975. They set up a shop in the little gray building directly across the alley from the Sidney United States Post Office. Eventually more space was needed and the operation moved to 644 10th Street on the north side of Sidney where the family started manufacturing Fire Cone Recycling Furnaces. Adding the patented Convert-A-BallŪ product line caused the business to again out-grow the space available and the manufacturing was moved to the Wheeler building south of Reganis Motors. That facility has now grown to over 50,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing, research and development space providing the community with 35 to 45 full time jobs.
